Silt Fence

Silt Fence is the first line of defence when it comes to retaining soils from construction sites, ensuring soils disturbed through construction do not enter into streams, lakes and sewer systems.

It is constructed with 3 foot wide UV stabilized woven geotextile attached to a 4 foot wooden stake which is then anchored into the ground. The spacing of the stakes can vary as well as the fence type and configuration. Its important when installing silt fence that’s its installed properly in order for it to function which would have it orientated so the fence pushes into the stakes.
